To gain user feedback, myself and a classmate made a simple feedback chart, or 'graffiti wall'. Placing it at several bus stops around Auckland, we gathered feedback from public transport users. Despite only receiving simplistic answers, we were able to determine that most concerns about public transport stemmed from the lack of lighting and the feeling of vulnerability that is prevalent during night time, especially for lone female AT patrons. This method was a fun and interesting alternative to the usual interview method, which has proven less than useful in previous design tasks.
