Having settled on the areas of lighting, wayfinding and shelter, I began a cyclical series of lotus blossom charts in order to develop ideas divergently, before narrowing down my concepts against a criteria based on the design brief needs.

After employing the lotus blossom method, I employed an idea harvesting chart to cull unsuitable ideas. I labelled the x axis 'least meets brief' to 'most meets brief' and the y axis 'radical' to 'conventional'.

I selected the top 3 ideas closest to the 'most fits brief' end of the x axis. I disregarded the radical and conventional y axis at this stage as I was going to utilize another lotus blossom chart to yet again develop more ideas based off the 3 concepts I selected.

From this cyclical generating and harvesting method, I narrowed my ideas generated down to three core concepts:

- clip on bus stop stop ancillaries

- lighting for small scale bus stops in dark areas

- solar powered, recyclable short term lighting solutions

Having determined three concepts, I shall begin exploratory concept sketches to flesh out and expand these concepts.
