After my personas and empathy maps were completed, I began developing point of view statements. These will act as focal points and provide the impetus for my design solution. I formed POV statements for my two main users: occasional public transport patrons and vulnerable, lone female patrons. I feel that these two users groups have the most to benefit from an improved night time public transport service.

POV one:

An adult male user requires more visible bus stops as he only occasionally uses public transport and is unsure of their locations.

POV two:

A female travelling alone wants increased visibility at bus stops because she feels vulnerable alone in the dark.
