AT: Detailing and refinement

Going into the final week of the design brief, I met with my lecturers Oliver and Rob to discuss aspects of my design I need to go into in further detail. At this stage, I must focus on material and manufacturing details and costs.

- Refine construction method. Steel frame is too expensive to fabricate en masse.

- Decide on solar panels and interior wiring solution.

- Design fitment solution for multiple size poles.

- Explore lighting colors and find one that cuts through urban light pollution.

- Finalize construction details.

- Name the thing!

It was good getting some expert guidance heading into this final, but very intensive stage. It's actually quite refreshing to work on some objective construction based problem solving for a change!
