Action Manufacturing design project.

The brief we are to undertake in conjunction with Action Manufacturing has been long anticipated. As an ardent environmentalist AND proponent of the ‘little housing’ movement, both the design brief projects presented to us were incredibly appealing. After consideration, I chose project B; adding value to waste material. I chose this as I feel that reducing and reusing waste product is a hugely important issue vital to combating the numerous, and catastrophic effects of global mass manufacturing. Project B offers a huge opportunity to reuse the waste product that Action Manufacturing discards, whereas Project A, though a worthy cause in many ways, will only contribute to this waste issue.
