I began experimenting with the Omnipanel by attempting various shaped curves. By slicing a series of grooves into it, I was able to form an even radius.

Having more cuts allowed a tidier curve that was easier to form, as opposed to having less grooves. It is also far easier to fold the thinner 3mm fibreglass side. The 5mm fibreglass side puts up considerable resistance and achieving the same radius is difficult. I was happy to discover that with ample grooves cut, acute angles could be folded with around an 80mm radius curve.

I also attempted a 'castle joint'. Looking into various ways to join the Omnipanel will provide a useful design feature palette.
