After discussing with my lecturer my proposed design, he inquired about added functionality. The desk and chair set I propose are minimal in design in order to keep production costs down, enhancing the feasibility of the project. But there could be opportunity to build in additional usability for minimum cost.

I looked at desks that had built in versatility. Added features included drawers, shelves, cable organisation systems, and places specific to items of stationary. I conducted a brainstorm and plotted down possible additions I could make, but catered to my user group of impoverished students.
