Laminating the Omnipanel with wooden inserts gifted me a valuable insight into a production issue I was unsure of. I was not sure how I'd manage to create a rounded wooden radius at each corner of the panel. The radius is 72mm, and I figured I'd have to have not just the rectangular frame for the sides, but additional blocks of wood for each corner. This proved to be one process to many for Action Manufacturing, and they suggested a veneer instead. But upon fitting my rectangular frame, I found it covers the corners perfectly, meaning I can do without that costly and time consuming additional manufacturing step. Awesome!
